MasterCraft X-7: Wonder of the Water World

The Seven Wonders of the World are named so because of their remarkable design and construction – designs and techniques that were often ahead of their time. It is without a doubt that the X-7 is then a wonder all its own - this versatile boat became the first boat in history to be certified by the AWSA in all 5 competitive water ski events and won Powerboat’s “Outstanding Towboat Performance” award. Shortly thereafter, the X-7 hull towed 3 water ski world records in two months, proving that a classical design could also be ahead of its time.

The X-7 combines all the award-winning qualities of MasterCraft’s EVO hull, with an open bow and lots of X-Series attitude. From 30 to 36 mph, MasterCraft’s EVO hull provides the softest slalom wake in the world. Add a perfectly-positioned 800 lb direct drive engine, a rear ballast system and a tower, and at 21 mph you’ve got perfectly formed wakeboard ramps.

The X-7 also has an impressive interior. With a spacious open bow, adjustable MasterView driver’s seat, a specially contoured observer seat for two (with a walk-through to the bow), and a removable rear bench seat (that converts to a sun pad) there’s plenty of room for 6 rowdy revelers.

The X-7 comes standard with a multi-port injected RTP-1 V-8 engine, a four-speaker JL Audio stereo system, a new re-designed ZeroFlex tower complete with billet ordained legs and rotating board racks, a KGB ballast system, a dual-access cooler and an enlarged swim platform. Plus, the X-7 is dialed in with the latest CAN-driven (control area network) white gauges, digital throttle control technology, investment cast underwater gear, composite bearings, and enhanced MasterCraft Cruise® system.

The X-7 will also continue to challenge other wakeboard boats in with its edgy graphics and color schemes, bright dip anodized billet aluminum badges, stainless grab handles, and new hammered metal textured vinyl accents with SRT (stain-resistant top coating).

The X-7 also has exceptional new tower options. Add some flare with completely re-designed JL Audio speaker cans, engineered to swivel and project more sound behind the boat, or improve your view with MasterCraft’s new Extreme Mirror with quick disconnect. A slew of new MasterCraft by Design aftermarket parts are also available.
